This course is designed as an introduction to some of the basic concepts and major themes in Comparative Politics ─ Political Authority and Governance; Political Economy; Political Culture and Identity Politics; and Political Representation. As an introductory course, you will learn about approaches to understanding political science that should be useful to you in future classes that you may take. Throughout this course, each student is encouraged to think analytically about political challenges facing people throughout the world
