The Determinants of Forced Manager Turnovers in Major League Soccer

This study seeks to identify the determinants of forced manager turnovers in Major League Soccer (MLS), specifically exploring the impact of the relationship between short and long-term performance, the variation from expected performance, and the relationship between various factors and forced turnovers over time. The data is comprised of over three thousand MLS fixtures played between 2004 and 2015.
