This is a history of Romanesque-inspired architecture (also known as the "Romanesque Revival") in Australia, from 1840 to 2015. It begins with a description of the motifs used in Australian Romanesque architecture, and then provides an historical overview of the movement. The remaining chapters are devoted to a more detailed history of the Romanesque in each Australian state
