Today a critical necessity has appeared in the reconsideration of modern people lifestyle and society on the whole so as to raise strong and happy generation in a context of life quality increasing, creation of decent living conditions. The given article provides a systematic analysis of the development of the medical methods in the world nations‘ social systems, and a systematic investigation of the ―health‖ existential as a part of the development of the ancient medicine. Nowadays the demand of a deeper and more probative analysis of the importance of the ―health‖ existential in the aspect of modern development of the science has appeared, as well as of a colossal increase of human sickness and death rate as a result of stressful situations, ecological deterioration on the planet and in Ukraine in particular, food shortage because of the overpopulation of the Earth etc. This is what we consider as the actuality of the raised problem. The aim of our investigation is the systematic analysis of the ―health‖ existential as a part of the development of the ancient medicine. In the primitive society man used to be in a constant physical and mental tension, and an incessant danger and life hazard made people look for the means of protection and wound healing. The researchers note that ―the first means of prophylaxis and medical treatment both somatic and mental were, by modern concepts, autopsychotherapeutic. This method was used quite actively in the ancient Near East (China, India, Tibet, Egypt, Mesopotamia). In the system of primitive society these methods took a conceptual place. And concept is a constituent part of the system (fixed in advance and defined characteristic is called an attributive concept of the system; a relation having this characteristic, that is satisfying it, is called a relational structure; the object itself which the structure realizes on will be a substratum of the system. The concept of the given system (health) (in our case - it is the primitive society) can count as a substratum. It also can be a structural element but in other systems. In ancient India the source of autopsychotherapy was yoga practice. Psychotherapeutic points can also be found in the ―Mahabharata‖ – a religio-philosophical collection of legends and tales. Such kinds of practice become structures of the social systems. In ancient Egypt such methodologies as aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, physical exercises and massage could be related to psychotherapy. In Mesopotamia there was a well-known method of non-contact massage for medical purposes. In ancient Greece and ancient Rome a huge importance was given to a word that was effective and powerful in its influence on a psyche. Funny stories, fables, proverbs and sayings also improved psychical state. In these countries society stood at a high stage of development, and the appearance of different methodologies let us call them the structural elements.In the Middle Ages psychotherapeutic methods were also developing. Faith and religion as a source of faith were considered to be a very powerful source of influence on a human psyche. At that time religion could be referred to the concept of the system. In Rus vigorous psychotherapeutic factors as tales, legends, comic performances (e.g. a puppet ―Punch‖ comedy), folk festivals connected with nature (harvest festivals etc.) were known. In Rus both new orthodox rites and the remained elements of pagan culture, which had a big psychical influence on people, were combined. In future along with the folk autopsychotherapy would be forming a scientific one, and they would mutually enrich each other.Сегодня появилась острая необходимость переосмысления образа жизни современного человека и общества в целом для того, чтобы растить здоровое и счастливое поколение в контексте повышения качества жизни, создания достойных условий жизнедеятельности.
