Ruth Mabbitt was photographed by Charles Bretzman wearing her nurse's uniform in 1928. The customer card listed her at 2725 North Meridian Street, apartment 16 in Indianapolis. A check of the city directory shows her listed as a nurse but at a different address of 31 West 26th Street.This image is a preservation copy made from an unstable original nitrate negative. The image is part of Series III. The damage to the image was caused by deterioration of the negative
