Glasshouse studies using repacked soil columns and large intact soil cores have demonstrated that applying raw CS-water to soils treated with gypsum and sulfur (i.e. ‘land amendment CS-water treatment’) can potentially chemically amend the alkalinity and sodicity of CS-water within the soil (without the need for dedicated AWAFs) whilst maintaining the soil chemical and physical properties in a sustainable condition. Careful monitoring of soil chemistry and adaptive management will be required for field applications of land amendment CS-water treatment
