To attract the new market of repair shop customers they advertised the piston rings as “Perfect Circles.” The name became so well known that it was made the company name in 1924. Meanwhile the next generation of Teetors was gradually taking over management of the company. Lothair Teetor became president. Ralph was made vice-president of engineering and that year, was elected chairman of the Indiana section of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He became president of SAE in 1936.Use of this image is restrictred to projects related to Destination Indiana. IHS may not reproduce.Destination Indiana Ralph Teetor, Automotive Pionee
