Chemical stimulation such as surfactant flooding in petroleum reservoirs makes efforts to produce remained oil and improve sweep efficiency by means of different phenomena such as lowering interfacial tension and wettability alteration of reservoir rock. Implementing concentration of surfactant through surfactant flooding is one of the big challenges while interfacial tension between surfactant solution and oil after certain concentration involves little changes such as critical micelle concentration (CMC).
