In recent years, mentoring has become a feature of the business world. It is used in the induction of new staff into the culture of the organization, to improve communication between different levels of management, and to encourage access for traditionally excluded groups from senior management positions. The interest in other professions such as Medicine, Nursing, and Education has followed.
