International audiencePolymeric nanoparticle for treating cancers: application in mesothelioma, the asbestos-related cancerThis article presents the selective tumour delivery of histone deacetylases inhibitors using a polymeric nanoparticleplatform produced by ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) of azido-polyethylene oxide-norbornenemacromonomers functionalized using click chemistry. In our models of mesothelioma, a highly selectiveaccumulation of the particles in the tumour was obtained. The release of the drugs involved a pH-responsivepolymer conjugate leading to 80% reduction of tumor weight for the best compound without toxicity.
