INTRODUCTION: The design of continuous training programs in therapeutic patient education (ETP) should be inspired by needs shown by the professionals concerned in terms of mobilization or acquisition of skills in this domain. The objective of this study is to analyze needs expressed by healthcare professionals (HP) involved in patients' management presenting a type 2 diabetes (T2D) and/or obesity and to compare them with the existing recommendations.
