Oppression, résistance et rébellion dans le film guatémaltèque La Llorona de Jayro Bustamante (2019)

International audienceLa llorona is a film that is part of the wide artistic and literary production that, in recent years, has been devoted to the interpretation of the tragic and traumatic period of recent Guatemalan history, the internal armed conflict, with the aim of participating in the recovery of the memory of the victims and against oblivion. The use of historical material in these creations, their re-writing and discussion reflect a political will to intervene in the debates on memory, justice, identity and also in those concerning the projection towards a change of era. In this paper we will address the treatment proposed by the film La Llorona in terms of the notions of oppression, resistance and rebellion from the interplay between fiction and reality that structures the work.La llorona es una obra cinematográfica que se inscribe en la amplia producción artística y literaria que, en los últimos años, se ha consagrado a la interpretación del periodo trágico y traumático de la Historia reciente guatemalteca, el conflicto armado interno, con el propósito de participar en la recuperación de la memoria de las víctimas y contra el olvido. La utilización del material histórico en estas creaciones, su reescritura y discusión traducen una voluntad política de intervenir en los debates de la memoria, de la justicia, de la identidad y asimismo en aquellos que conciernen la proyección hacia un cambio de época. En este trabajo abordaremos el tratamiento que propone la película La Llorona en cuanto a las nociones de opresión, resistencia y rebelión desde el juego entre ficción y realidad que estructura la obra.La llorona est une œuvre cinématographique qui fait partie de la vaste production artistique et littéraire qui, ces dernières années, a été consacrée à l'interprétation de la période tragique et traumatisante de l'histoire récente du Guatemala, le conflit armé interne, dans le but de participer à la récupération de la mémoire des victimes et contre l'oubli. L'utilisation de matériel historique dans ces créations, leur réécriture et leur discussion traduisent une volonté politique d'intervenir dans les débats sur la mémoire, la justice, l'identité et aussi dans ceux concernant la projection vers un changement d'époque. Dans cet article, nous aborderons le traitement proposé par le film La Llorona au regard des notions d'oppression, de résistance et de rébellion à partir du jeu entre fiction et réalité qui structure l'œuvre
