Teaching work: the construction of professional knowledge of teachers of the State Public Network of Dom Pedrito - RS.

This assignment makes a statement about the teaching knowledge question, having as deep cloth of the cycle of professional life, inserting in, therefore, in the study’s of educationals researchs’ area related to the knoledges that build and demonstrate during the teaching career. The contribution (to teaching works) can come to the authors that are devote to the teaching works, specially those ones that to approach their study in the professionalization topics, professional development and the teacher’s knoledge. I try to relate these topics with situations that happens in the teacher’s life in the beginning of the career and in our days, taking consideration to the constant changes of the Education, that couses immediate reflex in the discussion about the teachers role. In this way, the general objective of the study is to investigate how was build the knoledges of the teaching professional in state public chain in Dom Pedrito/RS and how they look at the possibilities of their occupation, in the face of the valve that them receive from the society, tha guide the initial expectation and the situation current. It’s about description research, the quality and amount character, where were used differents techniques of details collection how the survey, the discussion group and the individual interviews with importants informers. The details analysis based on teaching perceptions about the topics discussed, changing informations obtained in discussion group and in the individual interviews. Among the research’s finded, are the next: the importance of the initial and continuos formation. The unsatisfaction with the works overload and the fragmentation of valves; the necessity of professionalization and the valve of experience’s knoledges. In another way, the teaching show the approach between the theory and the practice how fundamental factor in the occupation’s exercise. The knoledges of the teaching interviews were builded through their professional’s trajectory and depended, basically, of experiences and opportunities that each one of them lived. Although being less satisfects than in the bening of the career, they have a positive perspective in relation to the occupation and the changes possibities.Este trabalho versa sobre a questão dos saberes docentes, tendo como pano de fundo o ciclo de vida profissional, inserindo-se, portanto, no campo de estudo das pesquisas educacionais relacionadas aos saberes que se constroem e se manifestam no decorrer da carreira docente. São trazidas contribuições de autores que se dedicam ao estudo do trabalho docente, especialmente os que focalizam os temas da profissionalização, do desenvolvimento profissional e do saber docente. Procuro relacionar esses temas com a situação vivida pelos docentes no início da carreira e hoje em dia, levando em consideração as constantes mudanças ocorridas na educação, que produzem reflexos imediatos na discussão sobre o papel dos/as professores/as. Deste modo, o objetivo geral do estudo é investigar como se deu a construção dos saberes profissionais de docentes da Rede Pública Estadual de Dom Pedrito (RS) e como os mesmos vêem as possibilidades da sua ocupação, frente ao grau de valorização que essa recebe da sociedade, no que tange às expectativas iniciais e a situação vivida atualmente. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, de caráter quanti-qualitativo, aonde foram empregadas diferentes técnicas de coleta de dados como o levantamento, o grupo de discussão e as entrevistas individuais com informantes-chave. A análise dos dados baseou-se na percepção dos docentes sobre os temas discutidos, cruzando-se informações obtidas no grupo de discussão e nas entrevistas individuais. Entre os achados da pesquisa, estão os seguintes: a importância da formação inicial e contínua; a insatisfação com a sobrecarga de trabalho e a desagregação de valores; a necessidade da profissionalização e a valorização dos saberes da experiência. Por outro lado, os docentes apontam a aproximação entre a teoria e a prática como fator fundamental no exercício da profissão. Os saberes dos docentes entrevistados foram construídos ao longo de suas trajetórias profissionais e dependeram, basicamente, das experiências e oportunidades que cada um deles vivenciou. Embora estejam menos satisfeitos que no início da carreira, possuem uma perspectiva positiva em relação à profissão e às possibilidades de mudança
