Background: vaginal infection in pregnancy is one of the main health problems that directly influence the development of pregnancy and childbirth.Objective: to characterize the pregnant women with vaginal infection belonging to the health district of the “Andrés Ortiz” University Polyclinic of Guanabacoa, Havana, Cuba, from June 2018 to June 2019.Methods: a descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out with 155 pregnant women of the aforementioned health area and during the period herein declared. The information was gathered from the individual medical records.
