PEMBERIAN GA3 TERHADAP PEMBUNGAAN DAN PEMBENTUKAN UMBI UDARA BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.)

This research aims to find out the concentration of GA3 and soaking time for flowering and formation of shallots bulbils. This research was conducted in the Village of Gunung Mijil, subdistrict Jaten, Karanganyar July to October 2015. Research are arranged by a complete randomized block design with two treatment factors, namely the concentration of GA3 and soaking time. The results showed that there is no interaction between GA3 concentration with soaking time. Treatment concentrations of GA3 significantly affected plant height, leaf number, the appear time of flower, the percentage of flower, the number of tubers per plant, weight per peduncle, weight of fruit per flower stalk, the percentage of bulbils. Treatment of soaking time not give significantly affect to all variables observation
