Cette contribution présente l’information disponible pour évaluer le Néolithique moyen des bassins de l’Escaut et de la Meuse. On propose la dénomination du Groupe de Spiere comme nouvelle entité du Néolithique moyen dans la région. Les différentes entités culturelles devraient être considérées comme des développements régionaux, en interaction constante avec les régions avoisinantes.This contribution deals with the archaeological data that is available to characterise the middle Neolithic in the Scheldt and middle Meuse basins.
