PENGARUH METODE MENGAJAR INQUIRY DAN MINAT MEMBACA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS CERITA PENDEK SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI SEKOTA SAMARINDA

The importance of research in the ability of writes short stories because one of competence speaking needs to have to controlled by students.Writing ability short stories quite difficult controlled due to complexity owned this capacity. Students had difficulty caused by existence of the factors that impede in learning writing ability short stories, one of them is teaching methods used. Research aims to understand (1) a difference in the capacity writes short stories students who had with a method of teaching inquiry and two stay two stray; (2) a difference in the capacity writes short stories between students who has an interest read high and low; and the 3 ) an interaction between a method of teaching and interest read in the ability of writes short stories. Research methodology namely research experiment use design factorials 2x2, with a population of research all students Public High School in Samarinda. Technique the sample collection in this research using a technique simple random sampling get a student SMAN 3 and SMAN 1 in the sample research. Lab data obtained through tests the ability of writes short stories and chief interest read. Technique analysis in this research using two ways analysis of variance. Based on data analysis the results research (1) there is a difference in the capacity writes short stories between students who had use a method of teaching inquiry and a method of teaching two stay two stray. This is in accordance with the results of statistics obtained fh = 21,57 ft = 4,01 with db numerator = 1 and db the denominator = 59, the first real = 0.05; (2) there is a difference in the capacity writes short stories between students who has an interest read high and interest read low. This is in accordance with the results of statistics obtained fh = 15.12 ft = 4,01 with db numerator = 1 and db the denominator = 59, the first real = 0.05; (3) is interaction between a method of teaching and interest read in the ability of writes short stories. As evidenced by the results of statistics obtained fh = 6,41 ft = 4,01 with db numerator = 1 and db the denominator = 59, the first real = 0.05. Drawing conclusions the study, writing ability short stories students who had with a method of teaching inquiry better than students ability who had with a method of teaching two stay two stray; capability of writes short stories students who has an interest read high better than writing ability short stories students who has an interest read low; there are interaction between a method of teaching and interest read in the ability of writes short stories students.
