Introduction. Hepatopulmonary syndrome (HPS) is characterized by a clinical triad of liver disease and/or portal hypertension, intrapulmonary vascular dilatation and abnormal arterial oxygenation. These conditions can worsen muscle strength, exercise capacity and functionality in the affected population.Objective.
