Marie Louise Stevens Photo Album and Scrapbook

This scrapbook and photo album (two volumes; see Additional Files for photo album) were compiled by Marie Louise Stevens while she was enrolled as a student at Jacksonville State Teachers College. According to her daughter, Kathy Guild, Ms. Stevens, from Bessemer, AL, was the first person in her family to attend college. She began compiling the scrapbook circa 1939 during her first year at Jacksonville State Teachers College. She dropped out and enrolled in the WAC and served during World War II.
