This interview with Rylie Driscall seeks to highlight the experience of freshmen during the COVID-19 pandemic. Contrary to seniors who spent their last year in college, freshmen admitted for the 2020-2021 school year began their college career in the midst of a pandemic. Freshmen Rylie Driscall recalls their expectations for their first year in college, how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted their overall attitude towards their education, and their optimism in returning to campus in the fall.
