Mammography screning- in the early detection of breast cancer as perspectives ov diagnosic in Republic of Moldova

Mammography is a method of screening that has a sensitivity of 90% and can detect breast cancer at an early stage faster than a routine clinical examination or self-examination. Cancerul mamar reprezintă principală cauză de morbidirtate la femei şi este a doua localizare ca mortalitate pentru Republica Moldova. Dintre investigaţiile imagistice, mamografia, ce are o sensibilitate de circa 90%, impusă ca metodă de screening, poate detecta cancerul de sân într-un stadiu precoce, mai rapid decât un simplu examen clinic de rutină sau autoexaminare
