Religious motifs in Tolstoy's stories

Yüksek Lisans Tezi19.yy Rus Edebiyatının önde gelen dramatik yazarlarından olan Kont Lev Nikolayeviç Tolstoy,9 Eylül 1828'de Rusya'nın Tula bölgesinde dünyaya gözlerini açtı. Küçük yaşta annesini ve babasını kaybeden Tolstoy'un hayatı hep hakikati arayış içinde geçti. Tolstoy'a göre, dinsiz bir insanın var olması, kalpsiz bir kişinin var olması kadar imkânsızdır. Tolstoy'a göre insanın iyi yaşaması için yapması gerekenleri ve gerekmeyenleri bilmesi lazım, bunun için de imana ihtiyacı vardır. İman demek insanın dünyada niçin yaşadığını bilmesidir. Gerçek inancın öğretileri sade ve anlaşılır olmalıdır. İmanın esası ise tanrıya ve tüm canlılara sevgi beslemekten ibarettir. Ödül beklemeden inanmak esastır yazara göre. Tanrı ile insan arasında aracıların olması anlaşılır olmadığını söyleyen Tolstoy Hristiyanlıktaki yanlışları eleştiriyor. Yazara göre gerekli olan şey, nefisten feragat değil, nefsin menfaatlerinden feragattir. İşte, insanları yüksek bir birliğe, gerçek bir mutluluğa ulaştıracak feragat budur. Gerçek aşk, ancak şahsi menfaatlerden feragat edildiği zaman mümkün olur. Aynı zamanda Tolstoy'a göre, insan için rehbersiz hayat düşünmek mümkün değildir. Aynı zamanda sorulan sorulara cevap bulmaktır. Çalışmanın kapsamı ise, Tolstoy'un hayatı, din algısı ve hikâyelerindeki dini motiflerdir. Kullanılan yöntem "dokümantasyon metodu "dur. Tolstoy'un hikâyelerini din eğitimi için çok değerli olduğunu düşünüyorum. The life of Tolstoy,losing his mother and fatherat a young age, was always in search of truth. According to Tolstoy, the existence of an ungodly person is as impossible as the existence of a heartless person. According to Tolstoy, people need to know what to do and what not to do for a good life, and there is a need for belief(faith). Faith means knowing why people live in the world. The teaching of true belief must be simple and clear. The essence of faith is to feed love to God and all living things. According to the essay writer it is essential to believe without waitingaward .Saying that it is not understandable that there are intermediaries between God and Man,Tolstoy criticizes the mistakes in Christianity. According to the author,what is necessary is not relinquishing of self(nafs), but is waiverof the interests of the self(nafs). Here is a waiver to bring people to a high unity, a real happiness. True love is only possible when personal benefits are waived. At the same time, according to Tolstoy, it is not possible for man to think about a life without a guide. There must be a guide for man at all times. Tolstoy narrates his thoughts in his works. Sometimes he handles the religious subjects directly, sometimes religious symbols embellish their Works indirectly. In this work, the religious motifs in stories are gathered under the titles of fate, symbols and meanings of life. The purpose of the study is to get to know Tolstoy closely and to understand his religious views,at the same timeIt is to find answers for questions that are asked . The scope of the work is Tolstoy's life, sense of religion, and religious motifs in his stories. The method used is the "documentation method". I think Tolstoy's stories are very valuable for religious education. I hope they will be useful if they are used in Religion and Moral lessons
