An Analysis of the Implementation of Processes following Aerospace Industry Standards

Given the high risks and stakes within the aerospace industry, it is not surprising that this industry has a number of strict regulations and requirements to uphold. Nevertheless, these comprehensive requirements need to be verified and controlled thoroughly to ensure proper quality and safety of the products. Organising all of this while keeping the business efficient and profitable can prove a challenge to SMEs and emerging companies in this industry. This thesis aims to identify the different factors influencing business management systems and verification processes in the space industry and compare these to practical examples of management processes in various industry. Using these inputs, this thesis has managed to give recommendations and considerations for organisations to design, implement and maintain an ideal business management in the aerospace industry
