Despite the wealth of research investigating moral decision-making, the question of whether intelligence, personality, and resistance to intuitive thinking jointly predict differential reliance on the moral foundations has never been addressed. By combining information on these individual aspects, this study aimed to examine this possible association. In doing so, we were able to pinpoint additional areas important in influencing an individual’s morality, expanding and improving upon the Dual Processing Model. We also extended our findings to look at how this study could progress to a criminal population, potentially informing us about areas such as crime causation
