Objective: To investigate the association of postprandial and fasting plasma saturated fatty acid (SFAs), monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFAs) and polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFAs) concentrations with hand and knee osteoarthritis (OA).Design: In the population-based NEO study clinical hand and knee OA were defined by the ACR classification criteria.
