Palvelinkeskusten hiilijalanjälki on TVT-sektorin nopeimmin kasvava niiden suuren energiankulutuksen vuoksi. Palvelinkeskusten aiheuttamien negatiivisten ympäristövaikutusten hillitsemiseksi tarvitaan nopeita, radikaaleja tekoja. Tässä tutkielmassa käydään läpi hedelmällisimpiä keinoja palvelinkeskusten energiankulutuksen minimointiin hiilijalanjäljen pienentämisen näkökulmasta.
