Experimental watersheds, which are frequent around the world, are important for improving our hydrological knowledge. Different hydrological processes such as precipitation, surface runoff, suspended sediment transport, erosion processes, are usually observed in the experimental watersheds. This paper presents some measuring equipment used in two experimental watersheds, namely Kuzlovec and Mačkov graben. Both catchments are part of the Gradaščica river basin, which drains into the Ljubljanica river that is part of the Sava river basin. Some preliminary analysis results are also presented.
