HUBUNGAN ANTARA DISMENORE PRIMER DENGAN TINGKAT STRES PADA REMAJA USIA 12-15 TAHUN

Background: Dysmenorrhea is abdominal pain that comes from uterine cramps and occurs during menstruation. Primary dysmenorrhea is pain that occurs since the first menstruation (menarch). One of the factors causing primary desmenorrhea is psychological factors, namely stress events. Stress in young women during menstruation is disturbed due to menstrual pain so that they do not do their usual activities. Methods: This study is an observational study with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this research is 90 samples taken by purposive sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire with the Google Form method. Analysis of the research data using the Chi Square test. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between primary dysminorrhea and stress levels in adolescents aged 12-15 in students of SMPN 2 Saronggi city of Sumenep-Madura. The results of the Chi Square test analysis showed that the value of ρ = 0.046 was smaller than the significance level of 0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between primary dysmenorrhea and stress levels in adolescents aged 12-15 years of SMPN 2 Saronggi city of Sumenep-Madura students.
