ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN ETNOMATEMATIKA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH KOTA MALANG

Mathematics is a difficult subject for students. Therefore, there is a need for interesting learning. Ethnomatematics in learning mathematics can have a positive influence in the form of interesting and meaningful learning, and is one way of introducing culture through learning mathematics. This study aims to determine: (1) Planning the use of ethno-mathematics in mathematics learning at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Malang City, (2) The use of ethnomatematics in mathematics learning at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Malang City. This research uses qualitative research. The research was conducted in January-March 2021 at SD Muhammadiyah 8 "KH Mas Mansur" Malang City, and SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang City. Researchers used data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed (1) SD Muhammadiyah 8 "KH Mas Mansur" Malang City used a typical cake (2) SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang City used traditional games and special cakes. Based on the results of the analysis related to planning and the use of ethnomatematics in the two schools, it was found that ethnomatematics was not clearly stated in the planning, but the assignment was directed to ethnomatematics
