POLITIK LUAR NEGERI FILIPINA MELALUI KERJA SAMA EKONOMI BELT AND ROAD INITIATIVE

This research explains how the Philippines' foreign policy is and why the Philippines accepted the Belt and Road Initiative Economic Cooperation. The conceptual basis used in this research is Neoclassical Realism Theory and Political Hedging which explains how Philippine Foreign Policy through the Economic Cooperation Belt and Road Initiative. The results of this study indicate that in determining foreign policy it is influenced by how the domestic aspects of the Philippines and its external environment are as well as how Rodrigo Duterte's perception as head of state and policy maker is very influential in accepting the Belt and Road Initiative cooperation. Philippine policy accepts the Belt and Road Initiative cooperation in line with the domestic infrastructure development program Build, Build, Build where this collaboration is also established as a hedging strategy for the Philippines
