ANALISIS KRIMINOLOGIS TERHADAP BALAP LIAR OLEH REMAJA DI GOR KEN AROK KOTA MALANG

Illegal racing is an activity that disturbs the community because the impact is very detrimental to the perpetrators and for the community, in Malang City itself, there are many illegal races, especially in Gor Ken Arok, Malang City which is often used as a racing arena by illegal racing actors. This paper aims to find out and analyze what is the background for teenagers doing wild racing, the coping efforts made by the police, and the obstacles faced by the police, especially in Gor Ken Arok, Malang City. The method used in this paper is sociological juridical with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires. The conclusion of this writing is the background for teenagers to like to do wild racing due to hobbies, money, and the environment. Efforts made by the police to tackle illegal racing at Ken Arok Gor, namely using 2 (two) methods, namely preventive (prevention) and repressive (repressive), in a preventive effort the police appealed to the public not to do wild racing and patrol the area. illegal racing, repressive efforts by carrying out numbers and coaching. The obstacle to the police is the leakage of information when repressive actions are taken. Second, the perpetrators of wild cat-and-mouse racing or secretly with the Police. Third, the perpetrators are still stubborn. The solution is good mental coaching and creating a racing circuit. The results of the analysis regarding the background of adolescents doing wild racing are related to Freud's theory, Mr. Mahzab.
