One of the biggest mental health issues that United States military personal and veterans face is posttraumatic stress disorder. There are many effective treatment options available that are suitable for treating a range of unique symptomology, from psychosocial to pharmacological methods. Psychosocial interventions are available in both individual and couple-based formats, as well as including methods such as service dogs. In addition to these treatments, there are effective pharmacological treatments and new medicines currently being researched.
