Perancangan Street Furniture Penunjang Kesehatan Studi Kasus Taman Kota Di Surabaya

Nowadays, it has developed a healthy lifestyle, which the people of the city began to realize the importance of better health levels. There are many ways the community, especially urban communities, to improve and maintain their health, such as by exercising. The government also seeks to improve public health by building several city parks, as the city's lungs as balancing the atmosphere of a crowded city, and full of pollution. The facilities and infrastructure in the city park is of particular concern to attract people that want to take advantage of a city park that has been provided by the government, in the form of street furniture. Currently existing street furniture is still minimal and not much developed, and inversely proportional to the enthusiast community to visit the city park. Sports equipment, which has been supplied include reflection paths, jogging track, and some outdoor fitness equipment. Exercise is the focus of this discussion is the sport of sit ups and push up. The exercise is muscle exercise chest and abdomen, which for improve human body and can burn calories. Thus, the blood that is in the body contains a lot of oxygen is good for health. Good blood will be more effective well, for it was given the additional function of acupuncture manipulation which is certain to bulges can massage and blood flow in the human body. The purpose of this study include as creating public sports facilities are in place in the city park and also through the tool can improve public interest to visiting city park for sports activities. The method used is qualitative and quantitative research methods. Methods of qualitative research conducted by collecting data in the form of observation, In Depth Interview, and trials. While the method of quantitative research conducted by data collecting distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents in Surabaya city park users.While the result is the creation of sports facilities are good, easy to understand the community and away from public vandalism to doing negative nature such as vandalism, theft and misuse
