The main objective of this research is discussing about the used of discourse markers by native and nonnative speakers of English in selected videos on YouTube. This research aims to find the used of discourse markers and also to show the differences in using discourse markers by native and nonnative speakers of English. This research focused on Biber et al theory about types of discourse markers. In analyzing the data, this research is primarily using descriptive analysis method.
