Introduction Obstructive airway diseases, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Asthma, are increasing in frequency throughout the world, having a significant impact on quality of life. Compliance plays a major role in disease outcome, as it has been associated with increased morbidity and mortality.
