INTRODUCTION: Despite the fact that tonsillectomy surgery is less common these days, it is still a common surgical treatment. Surgeons use a variety of methods (diathermy, LASER, cryo as well as coblation). ENT surgeons typically use the dissection and snare method among them. Due to the high expense of equipment alternative modalities are rarely employed. Many studies have shown favourable results using coblation tonsillectomy since the introduction of coblator.
