This disclosure relates to the field of computer science, machine learning, and communications. A method for preventing unintended electronic transmissions is disclosed. This method involves automatically disabling electronic transmission when two or more individuals are detected when only a single individual is expected. Detection can be accomplished using a machine learning classifier that has been trained to distinguish between electronic transmissions including single and multiple individuals
