This article approaches theatrical praxis developed in the Latin American context of resistance to dictatorial regimes in the 20th century in the artistic, educational, social and therapeutic spheres constituted by political poetics created by Eduardo Pavlovsky, in Argentina, and Augusto Boal, in Brazil, which marked the aesthetic thought and projected themselves internationally, since they were exiled for their critical and libertarian expressions in the theatrical area.
