Visuals of a music video

This bachelor’s thesis deals with music videos and their visuals with the author’s aim to produce a music video on his own. The theoretical part will acquaint the reader with types of music videos and their history. It then proceeds to explain cinema language that affects visuals in an audiovisual work. It focuses mainly on what mise-en-scéne is and what it consists of. It also focuses on camera work and color grading in the postproduction phase. The practical part is devoted to interviews with a few directors from musical line of work. The aim of these interview sis to draw knowledge and advices which the author then proceeds to apply in making his own music video for a music band.Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá videoklipy a jejich vizuálem s výstupem vlastního hudebního videoklipu. V teoretické části obeznámí čtenáře s druhy videoklipů a jejich historií. Dále vysvětluje filmovou řeč, která v audiovizuálním díle ovlivňuje vizuální stránku. Zaměří se tak především na to, co znamená mizanscéna a co ji utváří. Dále se zabývá také kamerovou prací a následně pak barvením v postprodukční fázi. Praktická část je věnována rozhovorům s několika režiséry z hudebního prostředí. Cílem rozhovorů je načerpat vědomosti a rady, které následně autor využije ke tvorbě vlastního videoklipu pro hudební kapelu
