This study aims to identify the impact of collaborative learning in a web 2.0 environment for higher order thinking skills of students (HOTs) in the learning of science. The study was aimed to see the interest and willingness of students to participate in science learning using Web 2.0 technologies. The respondents consisted of 31 students in Form 2 at a secondary school in Kota Tinggi, Johor. The collaborative learning approach has been applied to the Power of Two, Group Investigation and Think Pair and Share. HOTs students tested using pre and post test and text discussion in Facebook.
