As part of the international research and design project StreetWorks: Patterns in Urbanity, professor of Design in Urbanism Henk Hartzema, together with students from the Academy, explored and researched the function of the street in six European cities, each with a population of around 1 million residents: Amsterdam, Brussels, Edinburgh, Helsinki, Porto and Zagreb. They cooperated with architecture study programmes and urban planning services at each location. The cooperation was an initiative of the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE).
