This dataset is the result of a study into the acquisition of spatial devices in two learners of Sign Language of the Netherlands (NGT). This study is one of the four studies carried out by Eveline Boers-Visker in the context of her doctoral research entitled ‘Learning to use space: a study into the SL2 acquisition process of adult learners of Sign Language of the Netherlands’ (2016-2020). For this particular study, four groups of learners took part in an intervention study. Two groups received an input flood and explicit instruction on the NGT agreement verb system (condition A), one group received an implicit input flood (condition B), and one group (C) served as control group.
