Urban areas along coastal zones are often affected by the combined effects of pluvial and coastal flooding. The concurrence of pluvial and coastal flooding can exaggerate potential damages to human and property. Therefore, every flood risk analysis work should consider not only single sources of flooding but also their combined effects. The present work concerns development of feasible methodology for assessment of combined pluvial and coastal floods in support of purpose of developing planning and hazard mitigation measures.
