A machine-readable version of a catalogue, Luminuous Stars in the Northern Milky Way, which contains all stars of six source publications in a single file is described. Files containing lists in order of their publication and sorted by right ascension are included in the computerized catalogue. Additional details regarding the program, instrumentation, spectral classification and determinations of magnitudes and positions are given in the source publications. This document was designed to be distributed with any machine-readable version of the catalogu
