Panel Discussion with Former Students of Hin Bredendieck

Presented online April 3, 2021, 12:00 p.m.-1:15 p.m.This panel discussion will be moderated by Susan Sanders from the College of Design, and panelists include Ed Duggan ('63), Ken Fuller ('69), Carolynrose MacKown Gentile ('64), Jim Kindley ('68), Jim Oliver ('65), and Irwin Schuster ('57). This panel is organized in conjunction to the "From Aurich to Atlanta" exhibition, a bilingual exhibition at the Georgia Tech Library that showcases the life and work of Bauhaus-educated designer Hin Bredendieck in both English and his native German. The physical exhibition runs from March 22-May 31, 2021 in the Georgia Tech Library's gallery space on the first floor. This event is hosted by the Georgia Tech Library and the Landesmuseum Oldenburg (Oldenburg State Museum for Art and Cultural History) with sponsorship from the Halle Foundation. Collaborators include Dr. Jennifer Gerndt, the Consulate General of Germany, and the Georgia Tech School of Industrial Design.
