The aim of the study was to determine the rate of distribution, risk factors and treatment outcomes associated with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in patients admitted to different specialized treatment centres in Nigeria between January, 2013 and December, 2017. This was a multi-center, hospital-based retrospective study designed to identify the pattern of prevalence, the factors predisposing individuals and the outcome of treatment of multidrug resistant tuberculosis in Nigeria.
