A two-year study with two early soybean genotypes was carried out to investigate changes in soybean morphological traits occurring in double cropping. The two sowing dates were mid-April and early July after the barley harvest. According to the average value for the two investigation years and genotypes, soybean plants from the double cropping system had lower plant height (19.69%), plant weight (15.16%), node number (25.47%), pod number and weight (16.7 and 11.12%, respectively), and grain number and weight (13.79 and 9.91%, respectively). In double cropping, grain yield was reduced by 30.16%, while the absolute 1,000-grain weight increased by 4.47%.
