Inequality Diferrences Related to Covid-19 in the Bay Area and Southern California

Introduction: There is no doubt that the global Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has severely affected people and states worldwide. Although still within the same state, North and South California have very different lifestyles. This study will analyze whether the same disparities have an effect of the severity of COVID-19 in counties found in the North and South of California. Methods: Six counties foundn in Northern California (Bay Area counties) and six counties found in Southern California will be analyzed. In order to compare the twelve counties, thirteen variable will be analyzed between North and South, including variables specific to COVID-19. RESULTS: Inequalities affect every person in a community. The only difference is the severity. After conducting the very first test results, we were able to identify a change between counties in Northern and Southern California. DISCUSSION/CONCLUSION: This study is still not complete
