A study of availability camera traps assessment towards terrestrial vertebrates was conducted in Gunung Basor Forest Reserve, Kelantan. The main objective of this study is to collect baseline data on vertebrates’ species richness and composition in targeted area of Gunung Basor. A few of camera traps were used in sampling the data by capture the photographs of vertebrate animals in the area within salt as the bait. A total of 27 individuals that comprises of 6 species were detected in all points selected. The relative abundance had been deliberate and use in formula of Shannon diversity index to account species evenness of in Gunung Basor Forest Reserve.
