The ground mapping is done in order to produce 1:25,000 small scale of map which all the lithology in study area can be covered and identified for more details. Besides, the classification of limestone in Gua Musang is based on its geographical distribution only. This cause a confusion when the origin of the limestone is studied based on its depositional environment. Further studies in specification for limestone at Gua Musang area must done. The rational is, the limestone can be classified under related formations which has similarity on its environment during the deposit process.
